Evelyn Becker is a communications strategist with fifteen years of experience in nonprofit communications and political advocacy that highlights exceptional strategic planning, writing skills and media savvy. In Washington, D.C., Becker served as deputy communications director and spokesperson of NARAL Pro-Choice America, one of the country’s foremost political advocacy groups working to protect and advance women’s rights. Her public relations career also includes New York City agency experience; as an associate vice president at Rubenstein Public Relations, Becker created and executed media relations and public affairs plans for a range of nonprofit and corporate clients. Becker also served as Public Relations Director of The Ronald S. Lauder Foundation in New York, managing publicity and marketing efforts for sixty educational and community projects in Central and Eastern Europe. Becker is a 1997 graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law.
Evelyn has a significant history of focusing her energy and talents on community leadership roles, with a particular focus on women’s issues and the Jewish community. Evelyn lives in Colorado with her husband, son and daughter, enjoying the active, outdoor lifestyle of the Rocky Mountains. She spends her weekdays working in and around Denver and the southeast suburbs, and her weekends hiking, biking, and skiing in Keystone.
